Waters of the Moon
It is the winter of 1951 at a small hotel on Dartmoor, where unexpected guests disrupt the surface-calm of the residents' lives. Although the mood of the period comes through clearly, the emotions and conflicts stirred by this temporary intrusion have a timeless quality, and the result is an entertaining comedy, but of an unusual kind and tinged with sadness.
