Jump Mr Malinoff, Jump

Mum's drinking, no-one's coming to the party and the only balalaika player in Essex is due at six o'clock.  It's just another day for the brothers Malinoff in their parent's greasy spoon cafe until a figure from the past returns with an offer that can't be refused.  Winner of the 1998 Verity Bargate Award, the play is an evocative tale of young life, love and fear revisited in a seaside town.
