“Interesting commentary on post-war Britain”

It is 1947. As he celebrates his 65th birthday, Professor Linden is urged by his wife and children to retire and live a life of comfort and tranquillity. Equally keen for him to step down are his university bosses who oppose his liberal views on education. But the professor still believes that he has more to offer a war torn society that is changing rapidly.
