Richmond Council are developing a new vision for culture for the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames and want to hear from you!

Their aim is to develop a ten-year vision and set of priorities for arts, parks, sports and libraries (currently known as the ‘cultural services’) in Richmond and we would like your input in helping inform and guide this process.

They are particularly interested in:

•         Hearing what you think / understand ‘culture’ to be
•         How and why you currently use or participate in arts, parks, sports and library services
•         Reasons why you may not currently use or participate in these services

Have your say at their Online Survey or request the questionnaire as a paper copy from consultation@richmond.gov.uk

The survey closes on 23rd Feburaury.

Just before Christmas, Juliet Hill, a student from Surbiton High School and daughter of a TTC member, interviewed Marc Batten about the challenges of directing an audio Pantomime online.
Juliet is taking part in the Young Reporter’s Scheme, which allows high school students to write for a local newspaper.
Fifteen year old Juliet spoke to Marc via Zoom about how this year’s pantomime, Dick Whittington and His Cat, would compare with the stage version she is used to seeing with her Dad, Peter. Her finished article was published on This is Local London and can be viewed here

The Young Reporters Scheme is run every year for students aged14 to 18. The scheme is open to schools within the Greater London area and if successfully completed, counts as work experience.
